It’s the first day of World Doula Week 2023! Clearly I’m excited. 

I think there are a lot of people who know about doulas, but there are so many who still don’t. World Doula Week is an opportunity for us to share all about what we do, why we do it, and how it can benefit families. 

If you haven’t checked out my new website yet, I hope you’ll take a look around. I’m no tech-boss and thankfully my brother has helped me with so much! If you go to the Doula Care FAQ section there is helpful information there that basically describes a doula’s scope of practice. 

Under Services you’ll find information on specific support available, as well as classes. 

For those of you who know me, you probably already know why I chose to do this work. There is immense gratification in helping another woman as she nurtures her unborn baby and as she labors and gives birth. Birth is a gift, it is powerful, and it is beautiful, and to assist in a small way is incredible. I look forward to sharing more in the upcoming days about my business, myself, and my passion for this work!
